New Realities is a global project from Lenovo that invites you to see the world through the eyes of ten young female changemakers.
Partnerships with Girl Up, an initiative from the UN Foundation, and multi-award-winning filmmaker, Ava DuVernay, helped to elevate New Realities from a simple branded campaign to a ground-breaking, dial-shifting, transformative brand film series with global clout.
Through New Realities, viewers are urged to reconsider their opinions on Gen Z – inspired by young women driving positive change in their communities, powered by technology. These films invite viewers to stand alongside the female leads, redefining opinions and pushing the boundaries of brand films.
But the films do more than that. They support ten young women who are giving back to their communities, leading not-for-profits on impactful societal issues from adult literacy to support for migrants, and education for women in rural areas.
New Realities is engineered to have a lasting legacy, using its partnership with Girl Up to provide ongoing support for women driving positive change and helping the New Realities leads to push their causes forward through invaluable mentoring opportunities from Ava DuVernay and ARRAY Now’s network.
