Into the OKXverse with Manchester City

With the 2022/23 season approaching, OKX were keen to launch their partnership and sponsorship with Manchester City in a spectacular and highly stylised way. They wanted to showcase the edgy side of what they were about and our brief was to ‘create a standout OKX x Manchester City
partnership launch moment that grabs the football and crypto worlds’ attention’. Using the OKX brand colour palette and animé style characters, we entered the OKXverse, transforming Manchester City stars – Erling Haaland (in his first appearance for the club post-signing), Jack Grealish, John Stones and João Cancelo – into super cool illustrated OKX avatars to be used across social media and as announcement collateral. The client loved the work so much that they then commissioned 30 foot high OOH murals of the avatars around Manchester City Centre. Our film reached 154 million people across all OKX and Manchester City social platforms, with 352,000 engagements, and an estimated 6 million people saw the OOH murals.
