Synopsis of film: Written, directed and edited by acclaimed director Xavier Dolan, this short film is an ode to the beauty of human connections. A long format was created to break the usual advertising noise and tell human stories supporting the brand’s new positioning: Connection Is Everything.

In an era of hyperconnectivity, the telecommunications category has ironically become synonymous with cold utility and technical specs. Bell, Canada’s leading network, faced the challenge of reclaiming its emotional heart during a period of national fatigue. Objectives from client/brief: The objective was to move beyond the “reliability of the network” and focus on the ”reliability of human connection.” To do this, we needed to cut through the high-octane, commercial noise of the Grey Cup, Canada’s most-watched sporting event, not with more volume, but with deeper intimacy. The target audience wasn’t just consumers, but every Canadian navigating the quiet struggles and small victories of everyday life. Achievements and success in relation to objectives: In addition to touching millions of Canadians with both an English and French version, the film reached audiences worldwide through features in The Hollywood Reporter, La Réclame and Ads of the World, just to name a few.
