Following years of aggressive M&A, French pharma giant Sanofi needed to bring its disconnected workforce together. We needed to stimulate a radical culture shift – a willingness to talk about ourselves to ourselves, and externally, in a completely different way.
So, we enlisted our own people to be the voices and faces of our new, united, rebranded company: fellow employees talking about their own lives on camera. The resulting brand film, “United by Purpose” attracted thousands of internal and external views, an overwhelmingly positive response and even inspired us to call ourselves “Sanofians”, symbolic of our renewed sense of belonging and togetherness.
