To celebrate the 50th birthday of Virgin in 2020, we created a film entirely from archive and found footage to chart the brand’s rise from a small challenger in 1970 taking on the recording industry giants, all the way to the global multi-sector brand it is today. It’s a film designed to excite and engage Virgin employees on the brand story over fifty years, and fuel passion around what the future has in store. It also quickly and effectively communicates Virgin’s personality, achievements and capability to potential partners. Living up to Virgin’s proposition — feel-good experiences you’ll want to be a part of — the film is an energetic, effusive and fitting ode to 50 years of ‘challenging ordinary’.
